Why do cops still say things like "freeze"? You'd have to think at least one's run into the wrong meta at some point or another and been taken a bit too literally. If it was me, I'd have a department-wide memo out right after.
"Attention: Please Stop Giving Suggestions to the Bad Guys." Realistically, they should just cut it all back to "I HAVE A GUN" and leave it at that. Doesn't everybody respect a gun?
No. Not at all.
But it does seem to make them feel better, right?
Something something something, bliss.
(For the record, I don't respect guns. I don't like them either. Messy and loud. Pretty cowardly bullshit too. Only thing worse than a cop with a gun is a meta using one. Have some dignity.)
